Someone left a dead pot plant behind in the flat Chris was staying in last year. I took it home, pruned it a bit and kept it wet, and now look at it! This is not a dead orchid. Isn't it pretty? Thank you, nameless person who abandoned it!
w had these in the office at work; the only things (apart from staff and hard furnishings)that survived in that environment, funnily enough. They belonged to my boss, who ranked them above everythng except his lunch. Once they have finished flowering you just cut them back to sticks and off they go again. Lovely. I keep hinting that I would like one as a gift from dearly beloved but he hasn't cottoned on yet.
